Some teachers don't emphasize the rhythm part. Well, I took piano as a kid but didn't understand rhythm until I later took drums. Anyway, those in any sort of school band class will learn timing, regardless of the instrument.

At US colleges and universities there are book rentals due to the high cost of textbooks, which for many students, who usually are in their teens or early 20s, is a lot to deal with. Anyhow, myself, I don't rent books since I've been out of university.

They say the Tool drummer is great. What about for the other bands? What do you feel is unique about them?

They have a lot of obscenity. It makes for hypocritical parenting. In fact, I would lose all moral ground if my child knew I liked it.

It does have a relaxing quality on TV. It's like watching golf. Anyway, as I said, before maybe people aren't watching it the right way. They need to "be into baseball".

I suppose it's cause of the association of American Football with holidays.

I don't play any at the moment. However, it would be cool to get back into soccer, floor hockey, and miniature golf, if possible.

I've always admired Michael Jordan. He seems like a genuinely nice and humble dude. Anyway, my opinions were especially formed by watching Space Jam.
